RECONIX PRISM Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RECONIX PRISM ("PRISM", "the app"), the personal morning-assistant app and dashboard from ReconIX Labs, a brand of Combat Textiles ("we", "us"). By using PRISM you agree to these terms. PRISM is an early-stage product and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time.

1. The service

PRISM assembles a personal daily brief — weather, commute, calendar, news, reminders, and optional health figures — and lets you talk to an AI assistant. It includes an optional family "Circle" for check-ins, and can mirror your brief to a paired display or TV. Features are optional and can be turned on or off.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity under it. You must be 13 or older. You agree to provide accurate information and to use PRISM only for lawful, personal purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the addresses, times, and other details you enter.

3. AI content is not advice

The brief and the assistant's answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Weather, traffic, transit, and commute estimates are informational only and depend on third-party data. PRISM is general wellness and routine-support software. It is not a medical device and is not a source of medical, legal, financial, or safety advice. Do not rely on PRISM where an error could cause harm, and always confirm anything important (such as medication or appointments) yourself.

4. Family Circle and check-ins

Circle lets members of a household see each other's check-ins and send check-in requests and notifications. A missed check-in alert is a convenience reminder that a check-in has not happened within a chosen window — it is not an emergency, medical, or safety monitoring service, and must never be relied on as one. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. Only invite people you trust, and only join a Circle you recognize.

5. Health data

If you connect Health Connect, PRISM reads only the figures you allow and shows them in your app and brief. This data is for your own information and general wellness only; it is never used for diagnosis and is never sold. You can revoke access at any time.

6. Voice

Talking to PRISM is optional. Speech is recognized only while you are actively talking, the audio is never uploaded or stored by us, and the recognized text is used to answer you. Voice features depend on your device and network.

7. Fair use and limits

Free-tier usage is subject to the monthly limits shown in the app or dashboard. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, excessive automated use, or attempts to circumvent limits or security.

8. Subscriptions

PRISM offers a free tier and, where available, paid plans. Any pricing, billing period, and renewal terms are presented before you are charged, and are billed through the app store or payment processor you choose. Features may move between free and paid tiers as the product evolves. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your app store or account settings; charges already billed are non-refundable except where required by law or the app store's policy.

9. Third-party services

PRISM relies on third-party services (including Google, OpenAI, and weather and mapping providers) described in our Privacy Policy. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control, and your use of connected services (such as Google Calendar) is also subject to those providers' terms.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, including our handling of your Google account, calendar, and health data.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or twenty U.S. dollars.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
